Located in South Pasadena, this lovely bed and breakfast for $165 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Comfortable and quiet, spacious (700 sq ft) back house on a tree-lined street in charming South Pasadena! Secure, separate, private two-story unit with quiet neighbors. Includes full bathroom with shower, fully-furnished kitchenette with small fridge, microwave, toaster oven, and coffee maker. Spacious, private bedroom with plush carpeting. Sleeps up to 6 (with additional charge for anyone over 4 people). Upstairs includes one queen bed with memory foam mattress and two twin beds upstairs, and one full size futon bed downstairs. Guest house has WIFI and Smart TV with Hulu, Amazon Prime and Netflix subscription available for your use. Also . . . plenty of toys for the little ones! No smoking or pets allowed. Sorry no washer and dryer, dishwasher, stove or large oven in unit. The unit has two portable air-conditioning units. Conveniently located in beautiful, tree-lined South Pasadena. Walk to the park (with playground and tennis courts (free to use)), coffee shops, and many restaurants on Fair Oaks Ave.. 0.9 mile (15 min) walk to Metro Gold Line. Close to Rose Bowl, Downtown Los Angeles, Dodger Stadium, Universal Studios and many museums! Feel free to relax in our space and use it as a home base while you explore everything Southern California has to offer!

We needed to stay close to family in South Pas and this perfectly fit the bill. Clean and totally functional for our group of three. Steps upstairs were a little steep but very large sleeping space and very comfortable beds. Highly recommend.

Cara promptly responded to our questions and offered great recommendations for food, sights, and a local masseuse! In January, there was adequate heating for the upper and lower areas. We highly recommend this quaint Vrbo to all travelers to the Pasadena area!

This is a simple basic setting with two large rooms. It has wonderful special features for childre like small furniture and toys. There are nice touches like coffee beans and grinder, plenty of dishes and utensils. The kitchenette is not adequate for real cooking, but excellnt for serving prepared or order-in food. It is in a charming neithborhood on one of the prettiest streets in South Pasadena.

Our stay was for 10 days to visit with family and friends. The rental was clean, the beds were comfy and it was in a great location. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. We typically didn’t get home until late, but on the nights we were back early, we were able to watch movies upstairs which was very nice. This place is definitely cozy and I would stay here again when I visit L.A. I’m so happy I was able to find something affordable to accommodate my family.

It was perfect for what we were looking for- a place to sleep in a clean, comfortable place that was very suitable for our kids. The upstairs had tons of toys for our kids to play with while we were there. It was in a very safe neighborhood.

Easy, quiet. Quick response from owner. Spacious, clean. Coffee maker small fridge and a microwave. It was perfect for an adult family of four. Would definitely stay again.

A great place for kids!!
We had an excellent stay here! It was perfect for 2 kiddos ages 6 and 3, they had a blast with all the toys and books! We felt really safe and were glad to be near Garfield Park and Bristols grocery store.

Short Trip
We came into Pasadena for a couple days and found this little gem on the VRBO site. It was perfect for our needs, very clean and able to sleep 5-6 easily.
We would look to stay here again if we come back to Pasadena.

The guest house was very comfortable. The portable air conditioners were very adequate. We slept well, in a dark cool bedroom with comfortable beds. The bathroom is downstairs so it is a little inconvenient if you are a person who needs to get up in the middle of the night, but we knew that ahead of time. The neighborhood was really, really nice and close to lovely Garfield Park and about 15 minute walk to coffee shops.

Great South Pasadena guest house for family
I have three children aged 16, 13, and 2 and it was so nice to have a place for them to be comfortable, each have their own sleeping space, and a wide open area upstairs to play. The kitchen was convenient and helpful, and the location was amazing. The home is walking distance to an amazing park and the main road Fair Oaks Ave where you can find oodles of places to eat. The host also did an amazing job of communicating. We will be back!

We liked the privacy of the place and its child friendliness. My teenage boys could play basketball in the yard when we got back from long days of sightseeing. Great park, food and stores nearby. Cara was a very responsive host!

We traveled to South Pasadena to play in the West Coast Kubb Championship and were looking for a place to stay close by for our family of 5. This rental was perfect, walking distance to everything, tournament at Orange Grove park, restaurants, groceries, etc. Everything was very clean and well kept. We really enjoyed our stay and the rental. Will definitely try to rent again when we return.

Great location just outside of LA. Exceptionally safe neighborhood with secured parking. It was perfect for our family of four (2 adults and 2 teenage boys). Affordable restaurants nearby with good food and easy access to the expressway.

Quiet Neighborhood
If all you need is a quiet place to rest and put your head down, this is the perfect place. It's a modest, simple, in-law with basic necessities. My friends and I stayed here while we were in town for a wedding, so it was perfect as we didn't need to cook. Cara was very accommodating and responsive to my emails and texts. We ate out for every meal, (great restaurants in the surrounding area) and most of our time was spent out and about in South Pas. and the surrounding cities, so we didn't miss having a kitchen or scenic views. I think it would be good for a small family as well, it's very kid friendly. Beds were comfy and clean. My one minor complaint is that I missed having basic access to local news channels as the fires were going on in Malibu and in Paradise. All in all a great weekend for us.

We had a short stay but it fit our needs well. We had our 3 year old with us and there was an abundance of toys for her to play with which was great because we didn't pack many. It was well located and provided us a comfy place to sleep while we were in town for a friend's wedding.
