|Hotel was modern but I found it lovely. There was a great breakfast and car park. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to Lake Bodensee from where people could venture further afield. The morning staff were very helpful and spoke excellent english. The hotel is also a 20 minute walk to the Zepellin Museum but most of the walk is along the banks of the lake so didnt feel a long walk. I would happily go back fopr a longer stay to explore the area.
Arrival was a bit of an issue as reception was unmanned. Apparently I was supposed to have received an email with the entry code and a note as to how to get our keys but nothing received. This was a bit annoying especially as we arrived in the time period we advised when booking.

Nice, comfortable, and clean modern room. The location is a bit out of the traditional hotel areas of Friedrichshafen, but it was perfect for the purpose of the journey. Worth keeping in mind if the idea is to stay around the Bodensee and the restaurant/lakeside area. No A/C but a big fan, which was fine, but for light sleepers, the sound could be annoying.
The pillows were on the soft side, and during check-in, the receptionist only spoke German. So if you are not familiar with the language, could be a bit of an issue

The location was good, quiet dead end street.
The heat was unbearable in the building, it was worse than outside, I regretted not checking twice they had no air conditioning. Horrible hot nights full of mosquitoes and bugs, they provided one fan (very loud btw to sleep with at night) and staff advised me “to go to dm and buy bug repellent spray to sleep at night” I ask if they are aware of the mosquitoes why don’t they provide repellent plug ins in every room? Why should the guest go and buy some?
Neighbors kept smoking on the balconies in the evening and at night so our room was full of smoke too with the open doors and closed curtains.
I have asked nicely when booking to be provided with either a toilet seat adapter or a potty - they are not child friendly at all.
The bathroom was not clean, limescale on doors and very dusty hairdryer.
