Nice primate waterfront house with beautiful views. The house is suitable for 8 people and ideal for 2 families or 3 couples with children. There are 4 bedrooms (a queen on the first floor with full bath and ideal for grandparents or people who don’t do stairs). Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms, a king, a queen and 2 twins, plus 2 full bath. There is also an outdoor enclosed shower. Dogs are considered for an extra fee. We now have a flexible rental time: 4 night minimum rental in June, July and August till Aug. 24 and 3 nights minimum to mid October.. Guests can enjoy a memorable vacation with central air, a big open concept living room, kitchen and dining area with a table that seats eight and a huge kitchen island that seats five more - all with beautiful waterfront views. An extra room off the kitchen is a combination of pantry/laundry/office room with a desk and chair for working in a private room. We have the rubbish picked up in the garage barrels after you leave. Because of the lingering COVID, all renters are required to bring their own sheets and towels or can rent them from a linen company or possibly pay a rental extra fee. Blankets and extra pillows are provided in every bedroom. There is also a big enclosed outdoor shower stall under the sundeck for rinsing off the sand after beach activities. Situated on Follins Pond (the end of the 6 mile longl Bass River) and centrally located near all beaches on both the south or north side of the cape, guests can enjoy an afternoon of relaxation on the huge waterfront sundeck (14x24) with an umbrella table, chairs and a gas grill for cooking. Guest can also enjoy the patio table and chairs in the back yard. Everyone can enjoy sports and ball games in the big back yard. There is a two car garage where your bikes and excess luggage can be stored. The master bedroom #1upstairs has a king-sized bed, TV, walk in closet and attached bathroom with step in shower. The upstairs bedroom #2 is furnished with a queen bed, walk in closet and a full tub/shower bath. The remaining upstairs bedroom #3 has two twin-sized beds - all rooms with beautiful water views. Bedroom #4 is on the first floor has a queen bed, TV and access to a full tub/shower bathroom off the bedroom and is suitable for anyone who find stairs hard to navigate or grandparents who would like privacy. More Details The house is within a 15 minute walk (a 5 minute car ride) to a wonderful mini strip mall on Rte 6A with an excellent food/deli/fish market (Petersons) along with a drug store, ATM and clothes cleaners. Oliver’s restaurant is 2 minutes up the street from Petersons. Our house is a 10 minute ride away from most of the many beautiful beaches on the Cape. In addition, there are many walking trails within the Flax Pond Conservation area that is only a 10 minute walk from the house and that also has a beach/swimming area (great for small children) open to the public. Sometimes, we walk over for a quick dip because of the convenience of not having to drive and the young children love the clear shallow swimming water and hiking trails. Some of the beaches are: Bass River Smugglers Beach (our favorite) is on South Shore Drive, So. Yarmouth and has nice river views with boating activity, fishing pier, snack bar, rest rooms and a nice beach area. Other beaches are Parker's River Beach off South Shore Drive; Sea View Beach off South Shore Drive; South Middle Beach off South Shore Drive; Windmill Beach off River Street; Seagull Beach off Seagull road off South Sea Ave. Some of the north side beaches area Gray’s Beach off Rte 6A and Center Street (closest) with a beautiful long Boardwalk to view the marshland and vista at night. Mayflower beach is one the best beaches on the cape. Nearby big grocery stores: Petersen down the street on Rte 6A, 5 minutes away; Stop & Shop, 474 Station Ave, South Yarmouth; Shaw’s,1108 Rt. 28, South Yarmouth and Patriot Square, Rte 134, in South Dennis (5 miles away) with a Stop n Shop, Marshall’s and Dollar Store. Hyannis, 6 miles away, has a the biggest shopping area and a mall along with the Kennedy Museum and daily boats for day trips to Martha’s Vineyard or Nantucket.
