Step back in time in your own Classic Beach Cottage located directly on 100' of sunny, no bank southwestern exposure for soaking in the afternoon sunshine. Located on the gold coast of Bainbridge Island, Pleasant Beach. Relax in the claw-foot tub or read a book on the covered porch. Enjoy quality high thread count cotton sheets, along with robes & towels. Stroll the beach for agates, sand dollars, shells, bald eagles, herons, otters and seals. Stretch out a beach towel and enjoy the warm sunshine and waves lapping against the shoreline. Great biking and hiking directly out the front door. An easy walk to your morning latte and bakery, restaurants, Walt's neighborhood market, The Historic Lynwood Theater, along with the new Pleasant Beach Village stores & restaurants. We are located on a bus route, a short 10 minute drive from town. Sorry no smoking. Check with us if you have a dog you’d like to bring. Rates are $150-$250/night plus Cleaning Fee of $60 & Tax. Great host, and couldn't ask for a more perfect area of Bainbridge Island. A 2 min walk from dining, groceries, coffee, and win is amazing.

A wonderfully sweet little cottage complete with a beach and front porch. It was a quiet, peaceful place with good hiking nearby. The kitchen had everything we needed. I struggled with the bed's mattress (too soft for me), but my 6'2" husband had no problems. The clawfoot bathtub is heavenly!!

If you want a true beach town experience, in a cottage with a unimpeded and constantly-diverting bay view, this is your spot. It is about 20 yards from the water, and a 5-minute walk to “town.” It is nothing fancy, but it has everything you need.
Pleasant Beach/Lynwood is a true BI community, not at all like Winslow’s hordes of people. There are several restaurants, including a great Mexican spot, with real Mexican food, and a small grocery for things you forgot to bring.
And, I can’t say enough good things about our host. She was a gem.

This one-room cottage was perfect for this couple. The one-week minimum stay yielded an immediately relaxing & spacious feel to our time at Pleasant Beach. Favorites were our morning walk along the beach, one way or the other; returning along the road. And then our evening walk just down the street to the liveliness of Lynnwood Center, restaurants, shops, a well-stocked small market, bakery, even a movie theatre!
In addition to the cozy interior, outdoor spaces were inviting - the porch, the teak(?) table & chairs, the chaise lounges down on the lawn.

Wonderful location and stay! Could walk to the Village in minutes and enjoy the Marketplace, the wine bar (which has live piano on Mondays) and the bakery for breakfast! Loved the view and the front lawn that leads you to the beach where we had several great walks. Great stay!

This provided for a perfect little getaway for my wife and me. The cottage has all the amenities to make it feel like home and there is a gorgeous view of the water. It was also great being within walking distance of restaurants. The host was very responsive to all of our questions! Looking forward to staying here again.

My husband and I had a relaxing getaway at this charming beach cottage. We particularly enjoyed watching the water, boats and birds while sitting on the porch. The cottage was just as described, had everything we needed, and is in an excellent location.

The cottage was perfect for my solo trip. A perfect home base to explore the island and at the end of the day jump in the water and relax. Diane was very helpful and responsive and very welcoming. Would come back in a heartbeat!

A little slice of nature heaven!!
We absolutely love this cottage and the surrounding area! The view of the Sound and beach from morning coffee on the porch was THE BEST! Oh, and we were lucky enough to have deer come up and hang out on the lawn. The cottage is cozy and had everything we needed, and the host was perfect! This is our new favorite place!!

This is the second time we've stayed at Diane's property. It's a cozy cottage with all the amenities you might need. It's walking distance to a cute little strip with shops and restaurants and the beach is basically steps from your door.

This is a little jewel that takes you back in time. The neighborhood is perfect. We walked to a great breakfast, a fabulous beach walk, caught a movie and then dinner at a sweet restaurant. All without getting in our car. It was lovely. We hope to return.

Love this little cottage!
This lovely studio cottage had everything we needed for a relaxing, romantic getaway. Super comfy bed, delightful beach front, a 2-minute walk to restaurants and the very special shops that are Heyday market and Pane d'Amore. Felt like we were in a small French village. Thank you Diane for being a great host!

The overall location, view, and ambiance of this property can not be beat!! It is an older property which is fine, but it could really benefit from some upgraded appliances. Mainly the fridge and TV. Over all though we had a wonderful time and can not wait to come back again!! Thank U so much for our amazing litl

Great location that could use a little uplift
Location is amazing and property is very well maintained. Walk directly to the beach! Owners are sweet and very friendly. Only issue is for the price the amenities could use an update. TV is ancient CRT so don't really plan on watching movies (can't connect a modern device anyway), fridge handle is busted, most windows we were worried to try and force open. But very nice design touches otherwise and so convenient!

The cottage is a perfect get-a-way! Nothing fancy but a quaint one-room retreat. Road noise can be disruptive, but the location is great!

Cozy cottage with an amazing view and access to the beach for sunset walks.
We loved this place. It was so comfortable and in a great location. Walk out the door and you are on the beach. Walk a block down the street and there are restaurants, a delicious bakery, wine tasting, ice cream and a wonderful market for groceries. It faces west so every evening you get a beautiful sunset. Diane was fantastic and if there were any questions she responded immediately. I can't say enough about how wonderful this place was. We never wanted to leave.

This lovely little cottage provides a glimpse of island life that is hard to beat. The owner was a delight to work with. The cottage and its location were exactly as pictured. There are great little places to eat within walking distance. We will book again.

Somewhat Disappointing
When my husband and I arrived we were greeted by two big dogs from the renters that were in the adjacent property that is also owned by Diane. These dogs barked at times and every day would do their business in our yard. Because the other property is extremely close, there is no privacy when there are other renters. After the first set of renters left, the new renters, with kids, decided to play games in our yard even when we were outside sitting on the porch. This was supposed to be a romantic and private getaway as my husband and I work very long hours, with extremely busy schedules. The other issues were that the cottage was not as clean as we expected, as well as was extremely hot, as there is no air conditioning. We looked for a fan to assist in cooling the cottage down, but there wasn't one. We had to drive in town to purchase a stand up fan in order to get the air circulating. Also, everywhere we have stayed in the past, has always provided irons; however, there was no iron, of which we had to also purchase. Since we traveled extremely far, we had to leave the iron and the fan behind. We do hope that other renters will get some use out of these items. One other concern was that there were spiders and webs all on the outside and inside of the cottage. We spent the first day going through and getting rid of the webs and spiders. Underneath the kitchen sink was disgusting due to coffee grinds and other debris that were never cleaned up from the previous renters. The fridge is old and dirty as well. I don't feel that what we paid a night was worth the money. The best part of the cottage was the view; however, when your next door renters with dogs and kids end up in your yard, it ruins the peace and tranquility. We don't recommend this cottage if you are looking for peace, tranquility and privacy, as this is not what you will get if there are renters in the adjecent property, which is extremely close.

A wonderful beach cottage retreat.
We had a wonderful stay. The studio is ideal for two people. It was clean and comfortable. Diane was very responsive and very accommodating to our need for a later check out. The view is amazing.We enjoyed walks along the beach and sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch. There are restaurants and a delicious bakery in walking distance. We will be back for sure!
