We enjoyed our stay at Rolf's Country House. Excellent facilities, restaurant and friendly staff.

Splendid hotel and facilities in a great location above Baltimore. Very friendly and helpful owner and host. Clean and comfortable room, shared lounge, landscaped courtyard and excellent breakfast.

Rolf's was a wonderful experience with great food & the friendliest of service. We loved our stay!

The breakfast was beautiful, came quickly & nothing was too much trouble. We also had a wonderful meal on the first of our three night stay. Fredericka, her family & staff are the nicest hosts & the family dogs are so relaxed around people. You really feel like special guests in their home.

The room, bed & bathroom are small but Rolf's is a special place & a different experience so this wasn't too much of an issue for us. There is a pretty steep hill if you're walking back from the harbour area but there is a taxi service.

Fulfilled expectations and a great base for island hopping and enjoying local hospitality

Excellent. Beautifully presented with plenty of choice. Homemade breads and pastries. Local produce served and cooked with a smile.

Relaxing - Thank you.

The Welcome and adaptability of the management and eagerness to help and support my needs. I was working and a relaxed casual start wasn't part of my needs. This wasn't a problem and the family owners were more than accommodating to make breakfast available early.

I liked it all - Why ask for a false negative when I was happy with my stay!

An oasis of calm

This hotel is a real gem. The welcome we received was exceptional with a glass of cava on arrival in the gardens and real friendliness from everyone throughout our stay. The hotel is beautiful with real character. The food was fabulous - probably the best breakfast we have ever had (served like afternoon tea) and the evening meal was also exceptionally good. Overall we loved our stay in Rolfs.

Very little- not great soundproofing so that we could hear guests upstairs from us but this is a very small quibble as overall we would highly recommend the experience.

Beautiful place with welcoming, friendly, non intrusive staff.

Beautiful location and excellent breakfast selection. Lovely garden space for outdoor dining or refreshments when the weather is fine.

Superb

Rolf's country house hotel serves exceptional food and is surrounded by beautiful gardens. We ate breakfast outside in the summer sun and had a fabulous evening meal. Our room was totally comfortable with lovely bed linen and toiletries. Everyone was so warm and friendly, we were made feel very welcome.

Really relaxing and very pleasant experience

Lovely setting and very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely excellent. We had already booked dinners in a couple of nearby (Michelin starred!) restaurants but the next time we’re back we will eat dinner in Rolf’s also. Staff were all excellent. looking forward to returning

Bar closed a bit early 🤷‍♂️ (but it was early season)

Wonderful hosts, fabulous hotel in a stunning location.

A beautiful hotel, with fabulous gardens and one of the warmest welcomes you will ever experience. This feels like a family hotel, but also a very boutique hotel experience. Every detail is so well thought out. The property is gorgeous with rooms in several separate buildings overlooking a gorgeous central garden. The views in all directions are spectacular as the hotel sits at the tip of hill just up from the town. It is also just a ten minute walk down to the harbour and the town centre. A really great location. We loved it!

Everything was perfect - from localisation to the hotel itself. Hotel staff was super nice, proffesional and well informed about local restaurants and attractions. The hotel has lovley patio where you can enjoy a drink. The place is very clean and quiet. Bathrooms are great: spotless, high water pressure. Breakfast was delicious and diverse. This place is really high standard, definietly worth its price. We loved it.

From the moment we arrived staff were so friendly and helpful and we were given 2 coffees which were most welcome after a long journey. Rooms are spotless and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious as we're the homemade breads. A warm welcome awaits all guests. from Rolf and all the team.

Overall nice guest house in good location with good breakfast.

Cooked breakfast was very good.

Rooms are small though effective use of space. No information was given at check-in regarding opening times of bar and restaurant. This meant that they could not give us a table on our final night.
