We were checked in very late. Check in time was 2pm and some of us were checked in at 3pm because the rooms were not yet available.

Just an average. Good to experience but will never come back again.

The location and the breakfast

The rooms. As per the booking online, standard room can have a pool view, but when we came there the room is in garden view where you can view nothing aside from neighbor walls and dried leaves(its like a congested/underground room feel. We ask for an upgrade and i am willing to pay but they said there is no available room.

The staff was lovely but the hotel and the amenities do not grant the high price. What you’re paying for is the view.

The location and the view were excellent

The property was quite dated. The pictures on the website are of the property but maybe when it first opened up.

The bathroom bidet was leaking and spraying around the whole bathroom. Advised office staff twice before they sent maintenance, it was an easy fix for me if I had the tools, though maintenance came at 930pm - 11pm left and returned 3 times with another tool and attempted to repair but failed. Left it leaking and said it was the best they could do. The kettle also did not work. The fridge had defrosted, and chocolates floating in water, I thought you would have checked all these when preparing room for checkin of guests

Nice view shame about the rest

Amazing views from the balcony of my room.

Not what I would call great value, for the money I paid for what I received not the best, booked a suite, bit tatty, breakfast was disappointing, it lacked the wow factor I was expecting. A long walk into town and not much there. Decking around pool dangerous, needs replacing, the experience left me disappointed to be honest. IMHO, needs a total refit to warrant the prices charged.

it was ok… the staff were great

the views were amazing

the bed was horribly uncomfortable. They used a split mattress and it was split horizontally and that put the split right at the level of your lower back. I got almost no sleep. For a 1 bedroom suite I would expect 1 mattress

poor wifi connection. As per convo during reservation they will prepare something for my son’s bday celeb but nothing i am so disappointed! We were there for his celebration even a lighter and candle the hotel can’t provide.

It’s not as amazing as my first stay here. Maybe because of the renovations.

The breakfast. The view. The cleanliness of the room. The willingness of the staff to assist every time you need something. The location.

The infinity pool doesn’t look like an infinity pool because it has less water and some of the tiles around it were broken. The heater wasn’t working in the morning (around 5 am). The bathroom had a slightly foul smell when we first used it. The renovations were visible from the lobby and our terrace.

it was a refreshing week-end staycation with my Mum & Brother.

centrality of its Location to enjoy an excellent view of both The Taal Lake & Taal Volcano.

limited areas to explore within its Facility but the Pool Area & Dining Hall were quite impressive.

The best position for views of the lake

Excellent position for views of the lake, good restaurants nearby, staff were all very good, anything we wanted was dealt with right away

Noise from builders and were not told until just before we arrived, no room cleaning for the 3 days of our stay
