The breakfast is extremely good.

When it comes to the pool, I hope you’ll get it a heater since it’s the center of the hotel. Much better if people can relax in the pool. Because your hotel is located in the Upland.

Disappointing.

The room is okay but furniture is a bit old already and should be replaced already.

1. The view. They should have told in the room description that the view is just partial view of the lake and the volcano. It is described incorrectly saying the room has a balcony with the view of the lake and volcano. The staff tried to get us better room but unfortunately it was fully booked already when we checked in. This could have been avoided if only they indicated that the room we booked only has partial view. Hence, overall, I felt very disappointed feeling that the price I paid was not worth it for the view. If not for my mom who has disability that really need to have some rest already, I would have left. 2. Old furniture need replacement. With that price, the management should make sure it is up to the standards.

The view is amazing and it's perfect for a couple of days rest by the pool.

Facilities are a bit ageing. Quite some noise from the hall way, and there was some water dripping in the bathroom the hotel couldn't fix that made it difficult to sleep at night

I will not go back to escala and I will not recommend escala to my followers

I like the view, the food is so so, pansit and pinakbet and kare kare has margarine? Yukk, breakfast buffet was so so, I got charged by the hotel and the website terrible, there are other hotels with a view therefore I won't stay at escala again, it's not visible from the road. I will not recommend this place

I got charged twice, one by the hotel the other was booking.com, I called a so called hotel number but no one ever aswer. Front door people are excellent, Front desk 100 thumbs down

Has an enjoyable stay in Escala but will not be my first choice stay in Tagaytay next time

Staff were very helpful and attentive. Food was good. The view is of course is amazing, and the highlight of the hotel.

Rooms could be quieter. I could hear water running thru the pipes whenever people from nearby rooms use their bathroom. Wedding was held during my stay there, which was very bothersome for other guests since the hotel is not that big so they occupied a large portion of the common areas. Area were wedding was held was also very open and right next to lobby. So noise/music from the wedding permeated the whole hotel.

check in process lacking clarity- was not told receipt and room keys are mandatory for check out check out process inefficient - felt like I was in the DMV, long wait lines, hotel room is walked through by staff prior to check out

The room was spacious. The view was spectacular amd im glad they took note of our request for us to be placed near the elevator and pool area as we have a senior and pwd guests. Guests are very accomodating.

Friendly and hardworking staff we found relentlessly working even through the storm to help/assist their guests.

The management could advise the housekeeping staff to avoid screaming in the hallway or talking too loud between cleaning the rooms.

You only stay for the view and I don’t expect to revisit again.

1) The view was wonderful 2) Room service was good and prompt with friendly staff.

1) The wifi and internet speed was such a disappointment. Our devices keep logging out and had to re-log. 2) The gym room was hot and aircon off. The treadmill was not clean and sweat stains can be seen. No towel was provided and had bring from the room. 3) Shower head leaks due to wear and tear thru the years 4) Bath and face towels are worn out
