Close to the town centre. An interesting building adapted from previous houses. The.breakfast was very good.
We did not eat an evening meal there as we thought the menu was not suitable for our group.

Nice hotel, staff and room
I received an offer to upgrade to a suite which was accepted but upon arrival was informed these rooms did not allow dogs which should have been made clear or that option shouldn't be available.
It wasn't clear if you could order from the restaurant menu to eat in the bar area (as we had a dog).
The full English breakfast was lukewarm

Location was perfect in town
Outdoor dining and drinks terrace lovely but we couldn’t use as a wedding was on !
Wedding event meant all other guests were barred from using the outside dining area which was the reason we booked! Room smelled of stale smoke , and was not that clean on close inspection, a bit disappointing to be honest as booked expecting a high end hotel for the price and reputation
