We loved everything about Hotel Abaco from the minute we arrived when we were greeted by the lovely staff who invited us to relax with a glass of cava while the paperwork was done. We enjoyed a free room upgrade without asking. The location is perfect for both the prom and the old town, both only a 5-10 minute walk to the centre of each. The hotel is spotless and the staff couldn't be any better. Their breakfast is the perfect start to the day.
Most balconies aren't suitable for sitting out, but you can enjoy the courtyard, or roof terrace.

There is a certain ethos of well being and comfort. It’s well situated for getting to the old town and beautiful church area - although it is a shortish walk uphill. It would be a good place to stay for just a few days to explore Altea. Breakfasts are good and the staff do their utmost to be helpful.
No outside space to relax. There is a small roof garden but it was too hot to sit up there when we stayed.

Exceptional staff and service.
Apart from a slightly leaky Nespresso machine leaked, I couldn't fault the accommodation and more importantly the amazing staff and service.

It is the most beautiful boutique hotel, it was the most tranquil place I have ever stayed, the staff were amazing, so welcoming and helpful. I didn’t want to leave my room, it was so peaceful and comfortable. The location is excellent for the beach and old town… I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough :)
