It was in a beautiful location, a close walk to Altea but felt like quiet and secluded. The breakfast was very good, and the food choices at the pool bar and the dinner buffet were all great. The pool was a good size, clean and the poll area was comfortable with great access to the sea. The gym was good although you needed a key card to get in which wasn't communicated anywhere and took a bit of figuring out. Great facilities for cyclists.
The aircon in the room did not work at all. We had to sleep with the balcony door open to keep cool. When we asked for maintenance to come and take a look, they told us they changed the hotel air con settings that day and it would start working but it never did.
No room service was a big disappointment, especially as after 10pm there was nowhere local to get food. If you were stuck for some reason you'd have to go without.
Some of the staff were very helpful, the lady who checked me in was wonderful, but others were less communicative, not explaining certain details (such as where transfers pick you up from, or that a key card is required to enter the gym).
