Sam was very welcoming
Pets, The profile said no pets and so I booked the apartment that said no pets only to find out there are. I don't do pets hence I make sure I booked a 'no pets' accommodation. The managed the pets well for me though, ensuring that I feel comfortable.

I WILL DEFINITLY RECOMMEND SACRED MOUNTAIN LODGE TO ANYBODY. THE BRAKFAST I HAD EVERY DAY WAS FRESH, GOOD QUALITY AND TASTY. I WILL COME AND STAY HERE AGAIN ANYTIME.

Sacred Mountain Lodge is in a great location, with the common and Farm Village nearby and the beach within walking distance. It is child friendly with a nice pool and friendly dogs. The staff were very helpful and it was a treat having breakfast brought to our room. The room was tidied nicely every day. We used the jacuzzi and pool and thoroughly enjoyed both. We also appreciated having kitchen facilities and wifi. The room was quite spacious with a sofa and table, and the beds were comfortable.
It did not really match the upmarket retreat vibe suggested by the website. It is more of a homely, quirky sort of place with a rural but not secluded feel. It is quite expensive for what you get and it was a bit surprising to be asked to pay extra for electricity for the jacuzzi. The breakfast was ok though mine was not really as described on the menu. Our room (Owl Cottage) had a small garden that backed onto a neighbouring cul de sac, so though it was not particularly noisy it did not feel secluded either. If you're looking for somewhere homely and friendly you will probably be happy here but if you are looking for seclusion and tranquility as described in the website you might be a bit disappointed.
