Beautifully located in a park, 10 minutes walking to a sea, 5 minutes to local trains, big parking, still very calm. Nice restaurant und great breakfast and a bar area. We wanted a calm place close enough to Heldingor und Copenhagen, to visit Lusianna museum , and it was just perfect

Spa is fab, the staff in the spa and treatment area are excellent. The outside sauna is wonderful. It's a lovely spot and cycling along the coast was glorious. Bed comfy with excellent pillows (I'm fussy). Suite was a very good size with 2 bathrooms. Some of the reception staff were really great and the breakfast was good as it had vegan options.
I stayed in a suite and no-one cleaned my room for 4 days. I have never stayed in a 4 star hotel where this is missed. I understand a daily clean may be unnecessary - however to go for 4 days without a proper clean is not acceptable. In the end I requested a clean and the person cleaning my room did not take away the dirty dishes, or dirty cups or replace the glasses I'd used. As I think is the case with many people, going to a hotel is a lovely break from managing my own home etc so to be in the position where I'm paying over £250 a night and I am doing my own cleaning, removing the dirty items and collecting my own clean glasses is not ideal. I didn't feel taken care of. Also, some of the furniture in the suite was old with cracks which again, not the end of the world, but not 4 star.
