Lovely stay in a fabulous setting.

Beautiful setting with sandy beach. Restaurant was excellent. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Just a joy to stay there. Loved the natural ambiance.

Lovely resort and space

Lovely resort, nice ‘private’ beach, great swimming pool area, plenty of choices for food and drink next door, all different cuisines

Less than average

Convenient location and nice beach. Room was spacious and comfortable.

The staff were not very helpful and at times almost rude, which is not usual for Thailand. Could not order drinks at the pool or beach - had to walk over to the restaurant and usually wait for someone to appear interested to take our order. Food was not great in the hotel restaurants. There is a road that runs in between the hotel and the beach, which is a bit dangerous for children. After the fire shows at the hotel next door there are a lot of trucks that drive through that road - one nearly hit my son and the security guard at our hotel saw the incident but just sat there and did nothing. I would not go back - there are too many nice beaches and hotels in Thailand to waste time and money at anything sub-par.

Beautiful place surrounded by nature

Quiet location. The ferry port and the main street are on the other side of the island. There are no loud bars or anything like that nearby. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Good services. The accommodation was nice and clean. The pool area is ok. Nice sea view. The beach was right next to the hotel. Hotel guests receive a free sun lounger and towel on the beach.

The nearest shop is located about 2,5 kilometers away. Although, if you rent a scooter, then the distance is no problem at all. The beautiful bay is spoiled a bit by a long pontoon pier.

lovely staff, wonderful location, excellent quality of accommodation. Things happened and arrived when you asked for them to. Terrific Thai food and very good breakfasts.

A specially dedicated bar would have a welcome addition. The Thai restaurant (at which the food was very good) was in a very modern building and a little isolated from the rest of the resort. Would have preferred the Thai restaurant to be where the Italian one is and vice versa.

A little tropical paradise

We enjoyed the peace and quiet for a few days on a beautiful island. The water was lovely and clear, surroundings beautiful and as usual, staff are a joy. No complaints whatsoever

Great location and lovely hotel

Beautifully well maintained garden of the property! Spacious bungalows and great Location of the hotel overlooking a quiet beach with a view of the sunset. Good breakfast buffet on the Asian side (rice/stir fries), with a chef present to cook eggs. I didn’t test the continental style.

No communication after booking about a possibility to take a boat to the hotel directly from the mainland. One of the managers stressed us for the boat out. They called us every two minutes on the personal phone and room phone from 20 minutes before departure to see where we were and to hurry up to the reception. They simply should have just told us in advance to be seated at the reception 15mins before departure time and that the boat was going to leave 10 minutes before the planned time.

Beautiful hotel, amazing views, incredible pool, and wonderful staff.

Beautiful room with an amaying view of the sea. The infinity pool was wonderful and nearly always empty so was very peaceful. It was a quiet location, perfect for couples. The beach is 1 minute away and the hotel provide towels and loungers for you to use, free of charge. The gardens were gorgeous and the staff were so kind and helpful. Great place to see some nature too including lizards, birds, frogs, and snakes.

Highly enjoyable stay at an excellent resort on Ko Samet island.

Excellent accommodation, sea view, choice of good restaurants, well-equipped gym, clean beach, attractive gardens, first-class breakfast, helpful staff, efficient transport to and from resort.

perfect place, better to book directly with the hotel to ensure boat transfer is included

Everything, nice seaview room, very nice beach, very nice staff, we were lucky because hotel was almost empty because of the oil spillage at Rayong beach, but nothing reached our beach

When you book directly with the hotel you get the speed boat transfer included, unfortunately I booked through booking.com and I was charged the boat transfer extra (approx 700THB for 2 pax)

We love Ao Prao and the Le Vimarn is a charming and select hotel we would definitely return to .

Ofcourse the location is stunning on a quiet bay and the sea is literally 20 seconds walk from the room. We changed room to a lower tier bedroom in the gardens as the seaview room had too many steps so it was dangerous and tiresome when you have a 2 yr old. The swimming pool is stunning, the gym scenic with enough equipment to have a decent workout. The Breakfast was absolutely fine and the service from Payab and his team was fabulous...they really looked after the 3 of us. We only ate thai food and the variety and quality from the Buzz restaurant was of a very high standard ...great food and very affordable too !!! compliments to the kitchen staff!!! loved it

the internet dropped at times and there was alot of mossies but there was sprays provided and it wasnt the hotels fault - just take spray with you or tiger balm.

Nice location and beautiful rooms, resort is decorated with good taste. Staff were friendly and the beach was amazing.

The first room we were offered was too noisy with construction going on around it. They changed the room for us, which was nice.

If you are looking for a remote place this is a good spot

I spend time in the Beach Since I visit in covid time there was not so much customer and may be because of this I couldn't find someone to order drinks. I walk back to reception area to order drink
