The location is spectacular on the peninsula. Staff are excellent.
Minor thing, but a bag of snorkels at the pool are charged out by the barman at 200 baht. At other beach hotels, these have been free for guests to borrow and return, which is preferable.

1) The hotel/resort had a nice vibe, with a lovely pool area and cafe. It's a short walk to a beach with a few restaurants, including one that had a fire show every evening at 7pm.
2) The cocktails and smoothies were delicious!
3) On our return journey, we got on the boat from the nearby pier, saving us a taxi ride into the main town (where we originally came into). We bought our tickets from the ice-cream shop at the beach, but you could ask the hotel if they sell them. A very kind staff member carried our luggage across the beach and to the pier for us upon departure.
1) There was very little information given by Reception upon arrival - possibly a language issue? It might have been nice to get some details about what we can do in/around the resort. This could be done in a small book at reception for example.
2) We also had a really loud, repetitive and strange noise near our room on the first night - we couldn't work out what it was - but it possibly came from the water tanks. It was just that night though, nothing the following nights.
3) Oh, and the pool was green for the first two days of our stay! Likely by design, but it was a bit weird. We liked it better when it was blue on our last day!

There are very few hotels on the island with pools, and this must be one of the best. It’s small but the views are amazing and there is a nice through breeze as it’s on a peninsular. The mattress was comfortable.
The breakfast was poor. Fresh scrambled eggs were ok but the fruit was past its best and had been cut with a dirty knife. The coffee was horrible. The staff don’t speak great English (not an expectation) and are not very welcoming or proactive.
