Awesome location for a relaxed holiday and the beach was perfect for kids

Great location off the main road with a nice selection of bars and restaurants nearby including a small shop to buy snacks, drinks etc. The beach was clean and perfect for small children plus they provided equipment in the room to reduce mosquitos as well as an umbrella and torch for wet and stormy weather which is a great idea and a level of detail I rarely see in hotels. The beds were super comfortable and there was ample soap, shampoo and conditioner provided in the en-suite bathroom. We only went for one night as we were staying on the mainland but really wish we had stayed longer.

Service of drinks and food on the beach was a little slow but the staff apologised for the wait. To get to reception you have to walk a short distance across the beach/sand which may be difficult if you are pulling luggage on wheels or carrying heavy bags or small children. There are also 2x additional charges to access the islands on top of the ferry charge which we didn't expect and is obviously a higher price for tourists, so prepare to budget for this. This isn't a scam but is used by the local government to maintain the port and local facilities on the island as well as preserve nature.

Gezellig verblijf aan het strand

Mooi ingerichte kamers, vriendelijk personeel zeer behulpzaam. Gezellig terras aan het strand. Massage in het houten huisje is een aanrader.

Everything at your doorstep!

This resort is in a little private cove of its own. You have everything you need there - sun loungers, a fabulous restaurant with amazing Thai food, boat trips that come and pick you up direct at the beach . And within easy walking distance of the main town and beach hut without the crowds. We had a family room and it was wonderful with two separate bedrooms, two TVs. Very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Great ait con wgi h is needed! Seamless transport from the island back to the airport . Lovely massage in the Lotus Massage on site. No need to move anywhere if you don't want! Sashimi was amazing!

Right next to the resort is a Thai massage place in the beach with independent vendors desperate for your business. They hassled my girls and I many times near their business but also surrounded us in the beach lounge of the private beach lounges not taking no fir an answer. If I said later, they would push for a time and tell me their name so I was beholden to them. I really really did not like this. They should be asked not to approach on the beach lounges. It would put me off staying at the villa again even though I loved the resort. I'm on a holiday and don't want to hassled.

Best resort! Great value for money

Food and service was excellent. Very nice place. Super value for money.

The staff could be a bit more aware when dining and seemed sometimes as if it was annoying that they had to serve the food by the beach. This is a small detail! And only a info to make the stay perfect.

Netter Kurztrip

Nettes Restaurant zu günstigen Preisen. Gutes Bett. Gutes Frühstück. Liegt schön ruhig etwas abseits. Grosser Kühlschrank auf dem Zimmer.

Badezimmer war nach dem Duschen immer überflutet. Fernseher keine Programme. Zu wenig Liegen am Strand. Servicekraft konnte keine Flasche Sekt öffnen.

바다 바로 앞이 숙소인게 마음에 든다. 직원들이 친절하고 보안이 좋다. 해변 비치체어에 물건 두고 바다들어가서 놀아도 직원들이 수시로 순찰? 하고 다녀서 안전했다. 레스토랑 음식도 괜찮고 가격도 주변시세에 비해 비싸지않다. 월요일마다 모기 방역을 한다고 써있었는데 그래서 그런지 모기 피해가 크지 않았다. 체크아웃하고 나올때 폰을 두고 나왔는데 전화로 찾으러 오라고 알려줘서 다행히 폰도 찾아서 나왔다!

아무래도 나단피어 근처가 핫플인데 핫플에서 좀 떨어져있다보니 (썽태우로 7분? 1인 30-50바트) 위치가 조금 아쉬운것 말고는 만족한다.

住在A8，房間前面有按摩師在攬客，會有噪音。吹風機不太好用。外面蚊子很多，需要提供蚊香。

It was Ok, not the best place to stay in Koh Samed

The Reef restaurant and their friendly service

The first impression during check-in was already negative, the staff was very unfriendly and didn't squeeze a smile. It smelled very odd in the reception. The rooms were ok but very very noisy, the loud music and people passing by, the plates sounds in the morning were quite unpleasant. The breakfast selection could be better and the coffee is just impossible to drink. We spent most of our time in the Reef bar and restaurant which serves excellent food and drinks and has top service. The Samed Villa Resort staff should probably learn Reef how to treat their customers.

overall a good stay and would recommend and visit again.

nice gardens, relaxed environment. Food was great and reasonably priced. Good cocktails. Beach was clean. Good general overall maintenance.

The pop music ruined breakfast. It’s 7.30 am with the sea only a few meters away, that’s all we want to hear in the morning or Some traditional Thai instrumental would have been better. The music was the same in the evening. 20 track playlist just repeated its self. We sat from 17.30 until 20.00 and heard the same songs over and over. Also it was horrible pop which you hear in every beer bar.

Great room , for a 3 star , and into an island . great also every evening bbq , with tables on the beach excellent and little show with the fire man :) food excellent, and home made pizza high standard .

Free breakfast buffet, friendly staff

Samed Villa Resort used to be the greatest resort in Aow Pai but the there are many new competitors. Samed Villa Resport stop developing itself. The price was over the quality of food (especially dinner) was plain if compare with the next one which was cheper and more tasty. The beach in front of the resort has changed a lot if compare from 5 years ago. I hope this comment will help they improve development.

Perfect and peaceful

Amazing location and a great place to visit. Everything we needed was in quick reach but it was the perfect location to just chill out. Staff were amazing, as was the free breakfast. We had a front line room and the view was spectacular. We will definitely be visiting again.
