We loved our stay here. There’s no lift, but the staff was very helpful in carrying up our luggage.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was convenient to be able to eat in the restaurant. The included breakfast was very generous!
Unfortunately we stayed on a Friday night and the other nearby bars played very loud music until around 2 am. Which definitely disrupted sleep.

Nice room, clean and good facilities with lovely comfy bed. Very good breakfast. Just around the corner from the venue we were visiting. Was interesting to get the history of the premises.
One of our evening meals needed reheating but this was dealt with quickly.

The White Star is very quaint and the customer service is excellent. This property is very close to the cruise terminals and depending on where your ship is docked it can be a very easy 5 min walk. With that said, check ahead to make sure your ship is close to this hotel if you want to walk. Ours was a 45 minute walk so we had to take a cab. The hotel is also a tavern in the midst of 4-5 other restaurants. Easy food options right out the door
It can get a little noisy up until midnight when all the food/bar establishments close. They do however supply ear plugs in your room. The rooms themselves are not spacious. We had a queen bed and a pedestal sink in the bathroom so there are not a lot of options for storing things or spreading out.
