Staff helpful and friendly,
Lots of stairs and doors if on second floor, some of which are difficult for elderly or impaired users, So worth asking for ground floor rooms if this is you.

Dinner was excellent on Friday night
Tv remote did not work. No one on reception to ask. Rang number and no answer.
Had same duck salad starter on Saturday night and it was half the size of the same thing on Friday night. Not impressed!

Food was good, staff was friendly. Place was really nicely done and I would stay there again.
everything was great, the room was warm one night so it was hard to sleep, everything was very comfrotable. The only thing is, and I know you maybe understaffed, was during breakfast the waitress never came back to see if needed anything else and if I wanted more coffee. My plates sat there at the table all dirty while I worked on my laptop for a period of time. I was hoping someone would clear up and ask if I wanted any thing else. I had to get up and go to the bar and ask.

Rooms are really nice and comfortable
Restaurant decor good
The management of the restaurant is chaotic
Firstly being able to make a booking prior to arrival is impossible as AI puts you through to a mailbox which is always full.
So we had to have a table in the bar which was fine but meant nobody came to take plates when you had finished or ask if you wanted desert.
Biggest issue was a pork curry being brought to our friend as a vegetarian curry. We only realised when I started to eat my ‘pork’ curry to realise the mistake. My friend was mortified and felt sick at the realisation that she had meat in her mouth!
This was fed back to the staff who were apologetic but this is a serious error which should not happen in a professional kitchen.
