The garden lodge was just perfect. It was a lovely relaxing room where listening to the owls hooting and deer barking made it feel all the more special. The staff were naturally hospitable and made us feel really welcome even though we were a last minute booking. The food was excellent and the bed and pillows the most comfortable I've ever experienced in a hotel. We wanted to book for longer but they were fully the following night which shows how successful the Inn on the Green is.
The only very minor criticism would be that the path to the lodge was a big narrow in places.

Huge room with enormous double bath which we didn't use!! Great little swimming pool. Food in onsite restaurant was delicious. All staff helpful and friendly. A great find, certainly go back if we need accomodation in the area again.

Very good breakfast. Location was very convenient for Odney where we were attending a party. The ambience of the hotel was relaxed and pleasant. Pity the bar closed at 8.00 although we weren't pressurised to finish our drinks. Nice, friendly staff.
The entrance to the car park needs a bit of attention. Very rough surface.

Comfy bed. Lovely garden and surroundings
The room rm 4 was next to an entrance which was noisy and we were woken by someone entering the property at around 5am.
The air conditioning leaked water all over the floor.
We were told by the property a few weeks after we had booked that we were unable to get into the property until 5pm due to an event in the surrounding area. We managed to get into at 5 but were then told that we could not eat as the restaurant was closed. The bar also closed very early again due to the event. We were told we could have attended the event to buy food from there. But we had been out from early morning and were very tired.
