Bed, excellent; breakfast very good; room very good; parking excellent; service from staff excellent.
Restaurant - steak meal not good value - poor veg and meat overcooked (but discount given when these points were raised with the staff)

They were VERY busy, with 2 weddings, and yet coped with us with care and thoughtfulness.
Given such 'mass-catering' at this w/e they coped very well, and breakfast was fine...and with the range of food on offer was good value..
We did unfortunately have to complain about a steak, that was barely edible,...and they compensated for that; the problem was not the chef/kitchen, it was, their supplier, and they had already had similar complaints.
This was our first meal there, and that was unfortunate, especially as this meal for my wife was marking part of our diamond-wedding celebrations.

Breakfast very good & restaurant meals too .
Arrived at a very busy time so staff obviously
stretched . Wedding event on site . However , staff were still welcoming & helped to make my stay good .

Great location, and duty manager v friendly
Tired rooms. Carpet very worn through. Could do with a spruce up
