We were upgraded as guests of the day and given access to the club millésime where the staff went over and above to make our silver wedding anniversary celebration extra special. We were given a cake in the room which was a nice touch and a late check out.
We were provided with an expensive taxi to Giza with a driver who tried to take us to a paper factory we didn’t want to visit. He couldn’t find the hotel we were going to and tried to demand more than the price we had agreed at the hotel

Everyone was friendly i did the upgrade to nile view suite and it was perfect. The 22nd floor lounge was great i think it comes with the upgrade i used it for calls and for morning breakfast the view is mesmerizing

The view from the room is on the Nile and the hotel restaurants are amazing

Restaurant staff are so friendly and helpful
Guest relations have no authority, we booked 2 suites both non smoking. Sofitel gave us a smoking room. It was also extremely dirty, balcony unusable and shower with mould. They offered £40 refund I refused and said they could keep it.
