Very nice location on the leafy Nile island, walking distance to small shops, colonial villas, embassies -- we very much enjoyed our stay in the hotel. The room had a backyard view, was very clean and the internet very good - breakfast in the hotel next door (The President Hotel - they belong together) was excellent and worth its price. The hotel provides unlimited bottled water. Friendly and helpful staff. Thank you!

Good location, friendly staff, comfortable beds and super clean linen. Quickly offered to change room to improve the air conditioner noise issue. Good breakfast next door at President Hotel.
Exceptionally noisy air-conditioning; regardless of whether set to auto, low, med or high, it blew with the same intensity and noise level. Changed rooms to one with the a/c vents located further away from the bed which was marginally better. The trade off was a musty drain smell, and most times only warm or tepid water available for showering.

The reception staff were uniquely professional and respectful.
The cleaning lady was well mannered and professional.
Only if you would add room breakfast if you don’t have a restaurant.
