The staff were very approachable and the included breakfast was a strength with a good variety, and the possibility to order from the menu.
Pool areas are small and lack any sort of atmosphere. Often diesel boats were starting engines up opposite which would blow the gasses to the pool vicinity where people lay. The main problem is price of all food and drink in house. We ordered all from grab at 1/4 of the price and others evidently followed, meaning the bar and restaurant was empty most evenings which again made the hotel feel like a ghost town. Happy hour should encourage guests to drink at the bar but from 4-6pm is just too early.. the timings should be from 4-8pm to allow guests time to come back from trips etc and enjoy the advantage of the discount at the bar. Instead the bar remained dead so we went to the Air Bar down the road at the Intercontinental hotel, really classy bar with a strong happy hour selection and adequate timings.
