Relaxing and quiet stay

Facilities were super nice. Lovely pool, good gym and nice restaurant. Rooms were lovely and very light and inviting

Door to the toilet was a pain to close, lack of toiletries.

Exceptionnel

Les chambres, la piscine et sa vue, la salle de sport sont incroyables. Super calme aussi. Salon de massage est top aussi. Les prix sont plus élevés qu’en ville mais en ville ça ne donne franchement pas envie de se faire masser.. Restaurant était très bon aussi, nous y avons diné 4 fois.

-Si votre budget est limité notez qu’il faut prévoir un bon petit budget taxi. L’hôtel est excentré, si vous souhaitez sortir le soir vous ne pourrez pas aller à pied à Fisherman’s village. Comptez 600bht aller/ retour juste pour Fisherman’s village en Grab ou taxi. Aussi, je conseille 1000 fois le restaurant Red Moon à Fisherman’s village. Incroyable !! -Pas des grands mangeurs donc nous prenions le petit dej à la carte. Nous avons trouvé les portions un petit peu limite… 180bht L’UNIQUE pancake, particulier :) même chose pour l’avocado toast qui faisait la moitié de ma petite main et qui est snaké dans une poêle où de la viande avait cuit. Veggie s’abstenir :) Les petits commentaires que je pourrais mais franchement l’hôtel est incroyable ne le loupez surtout pas.

Superb hotel with lovely facilities & brilliant staff

We stayed at The Mantra for the 2nd half of our trip to Koh Samui- beautiful room & facilities. Lovely helpful staff who were always friendly and attentive. Great breakfast with a wide variety of choice, evening meals excellent. We really enjoyed our stay. One particular member of staff, helped us tremendously when we had an accident with our hire car on the main road - Ying left the hotel and came down to translate and support us with translation & the police. We send our grateful thanks to Ying and hope management realise how wonderful she is.

Very nice place, beautiful room, beautiful view, nice gym, wonderful swimming pool and very dedicated and helpful staff.

All was wonderful apart from the quality of the food including at breakfast. They may need to increase prices (rather reasonable) to improve the quality at the restaurant.

Relaxing, enjoyable, and super all in all.

- Location and view (over the mountain and bay) - The room was extremely large - The staff were always friendly and helpful. I never got no as an answer to any requests - The food was great - Happy Hour (twice per day no less)

Great pool, spacious room, bad location worse mattress.

The pool & view- best in Thailand probably. The room & shower - huge, and aesthetically pleasing. The staff - professional and virtuous.

The bed - cheap, spring mattress like in a hostel. The location - far from everything. The hotel is on a hill - super steep and hard to walk to the pool where breakfast is served (however the awesome staff will drive you up & down the hill with a golf cart)

We, as a family, stayed at the hotel situated on the coast with stunning views of Koh Phan Gan. The relaxing atmosphere was perfect for our family vacation. We were delighted with the spacious and cozy rooms, well-equipped with large terraces and lounge chairs. The hotel's infinity pool offers an unforgettable experience, blending seamlessly with the horizon to provide breathtaking views of Koh Phan Gan and the coast. Its unique design and well-maintained cleanliness make it a highlight for guests, enhancing the overall luxury and relaxation of the stay. The pool's beautiful coastal scenery adds to the property's appeal, making it a must-see feature. Breakfast was a highlight, with delicious, varied, and abundant offerings that catered to all our tastes. The additional facilities, such as a 24/7 well-equipped gym, added to our enjoyment. Overall, our family experience was exceptional, and the combination of beautiful sea views, comfortable accommodations, friendly staff, and top amenities makes this hotel a highly recommendable destination. One aspect we noted was that the hotel is somewhat secluded, which can be both a drawback and an advantage. While this offers a tranquil and private setting, it may require utilizing a rental car to explore the area and access nearby attractions easily.

Good view and nice room

The view is amazing and the room is big. It's located uphill good for being ISOLATED.

Everything was nice until the check-out day. We had to return the moped to the hotel and they didn't inform us clearly what time do we have to return back, only said to return it on the check-out day. So we came down at 11.30 am and they charged us for 3 hours extra for not returning it by 9 am. The staff could have called us to the room cus we were in the hotel the whole time and also another 300 baht extra was charged for the moped small damage! we're so confused about how that happened, we didn't crash with anything at all. It just looked so suspicious on that damage. We felt a bit disappointed and the attitude of the one staff on the check-out day was not good either. Breakfast wasn't the best.

Amazing and would recommend

Facilities were second to none!! Amazing hotel with an exceptional view. Staff were super friendly and very helpful. Rooms were spacious and always well maintained. Views from the bar/pool were amazing and a must see. We ate breakfast there a number of morning and we had lunch on occasion, food was always great and reasonably priced also. Gym was 24/7 and was bell equipped. I was surprised as most gyms are basic. This did not disappoint

My only downfall was the location. It is a bit outside the centre and about 15 minutes from fisherman's village. But we were aware of that when booking and taxi/grabs were convenient. To be honest with the exceptional facilities you won't want to leave the place.

Amazing hotel with amazing views!

Exceptional hotel rooms with an amazing view of the sea (I booked the ocean view room). The infinity pool is also amazing. Service is good and attentive as the hotel is on quite a steep hill so they helped with luggage etc. Taxis are also very quick on Grab to take to the nearby beach and fisherman village. The hotel are also happy to drop to the bottom of the hill, the walk to the beach from there is around 15/20 mins.

It would’ve been great if there was a shuttle directly to the beach. Everything else was amazing though!

Superb

- Food was delicious - Breakfast buffet included an a self service section as well as a made to order option (the food was very fresh) - Spacious room & bathroom - Comfy bed - Aircon - Clean (regular cleaning service) - Balcony had a nice seating area & view of the beach - Friendly staff - Infinity pool (nice view of the mountains & beach)

Honestly loved everything but if I had to be picky, the area was very steep. It was tiring walking from our room to the pools/restaurant, however they do offer a free shuttle service to drive you around the resort. The resort itself was also located quite far from all of our activities and the night markets which made it costly to travel around. I would recommend renting a scooter to save some money travelling around.

great stay with a great view but very high up a hill.

The view was absolutely amazing. The room was spacious. I love that we could easily rent mopeds from the hotel at a good price.

location: if you don’t get a moped or something to drive this will be extremely tiring. the hotel is on a hill and though they say 15 mins walk. it’s more keeping the hill in mind. the path to the hotel gets very dark. the breakfast could be better, and the attention to detail from staff could be better too.

Great Location with an an amazing view

the location, the layout and decor in the rooms, the infinity pool and the friendly staff.

the mattress was way too soft and you could feel a few springs. The pool closed at 8pm and the food menu was rather limited and nothing wow.

Our stay was peaceful, the hotel was beautiful and we would come back!

The breakfast was always made fresh and their cappuccino was amazing! The views are spectacular and the room is more than spacious. It felt secluded but still not too far from the main areas.

The wifi didn’t work too well during our stay which prevented us from doing any work in our room.

Exceptional

We've spent in the hotel 3 months. Everything was great: staff, breakfasts, rooms, locations, morning yoga / pilates classes and overall atmosphere. We'll come back next year.

Pampered!

The resort is stunningly beautiful. I had a luxurious week here and enjoyed every minute. It is away from the hustle and bustle of other areas on the island but not too far. The staff was so incredibly helpful with absolutely everything I needed from hiring taxis to booking excursions. I would stay again in a heartbeat. My room was fantastic with the most amazing view of the ocean.

The wifi would go in and out, but this is common for everywhere I have been in Thailand.

Very good

Nice, calm and clean hotel. The staff was very helpful and the view from the restaurant was amazing. Further, I got a cake for my birthday. What a nice surprise

It was a perfect stay

hospitality of the exceptional staff. Staff were always eager to help us with everything. Big rooms and lovely balcony with a view. Freshly prepared breakfast.
