I liked the human approach of Signore Maria and Francesca : So much interested in our needs, utmost helpful, warmest welcome ever.
We stayed as couple and felt like at our home.
On top, the location is highly safe and beautiful.
There is nothing to not to like.

Very quiet, nice area, but also not far from the main sites of Rome (including catacombs); friendly and helpful staff/owner; clean and bright room (we were in 4th floor Tower Lodge).

Breakfast was basic and the same every day. Items were often missing and never replaced. There is no dedicated staff for breakfast. The receptionist must dodge back and forth from front desk duties to keep up the food and make coffees. Some of the staff were helpful and pleasant, others were grumpy.
Rooms are small for the price. Plug in the bathroom tub didn't seal so my partner could not take a bath. Neighborhood dogs bark incessantly day and night and it's impossible to get any peace. I'm surprised the ownership of the hotel has not confronted these dog owners. It's theoretically a nice, quiet neighborhood, but in fact it's noisy for this reason.
