I would like to suggest to keep an international cuisine as breakfast

Extra water bottles are charged. At least two water bottles should be kept. Bathroom kits needs to be provided properly.

Perfect accommodation in the perfect location

We had a prestige/premier suite and it was very modern, clean and extremely spacious. The bed was very comfortable and high quality bed linen. The tv was on a movable trolley and was great for wheeling into the perfect position for watching from bed. The bathroom was lovely with both a bath and a shower and double vanity. We loved the ‘rituals’ toiletries. It was an easy walk into the city centre of 12 minutes or the tram stop was a 5 minute walk away. We loved the location. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and I’d highly recommend this accommodation if you’re looking to stay in Montpelier.

The air conditioning could be improved and the fridge was not working in our room. As we were there for only 1 night it was not too much of an issue.

Good stay

Excellent breakfast buffet. Well served by tram system and can walk into centre of city too with ease.

Hotel could have made up children's bed (sofa bed) in advance.

It's ok as a base to go away else where around the area. Breakfast was ok.

The girls at reception, very nice and helpful!! the rest is average, expected a little more for Novotel! Lucky I had a car to go out! Montpellier isn't a place I would visit again. Rather go to Avignon or stay at a chateau. Montpellier was a little dull and people a little grim. I had some restaurants close by which was a plus.

That I had to pay for parking when it says free. But then again you pay any where you go. No room service, just vending machines with a little market inside and everything overly price. I went to a supermarket Carrefour not far and got some goods from there.

The breakfast

We booked a suite with separated bedroom from the living room (which had a sofa bed). They gave us a triple room with all in one space. The room smelt of tobacco smoke. We had to complain, the girl at the reception desk changed the room and assigned us the one we had booked (according to Booking pictures and the separated room) and she said she made us an upgrade (!!!) for free when in fact that was the suite we had booked and payed for. Basic hotel, not a 4*

Pleasant

friendly staff, big room with kitchen, office table and bedroom. The breakfast was standard. in the Rezeption you can buy food and drinks and warm up it in the room.

Great location, friendly staff, lovely pool, delicious breakfast.

The carpet in the bedroom could do with a good clean. There was a lot of dust on a panel above the bed. Air con was loud and ancient.

Relieved to get the booking on short notice, and staff were professional, but AC and in-suite provisions need upgrading.

The AC in the suite and throughout the hotel was really inadequate, and made things quite uncomfortable. Can’t imagine what it will be like in the middle of summer! As others have mentioned, what’s the point of having a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and kettle, but no cups, plates/bowls, or cutlery?! Quite odd! Also, only one, slow elevator was working during our 4-day stay.

Cleanliness, breakfast and quiet comfortable rooms. Pool a bonus.

Although we booked for 3 people sharing a room only 2 cups were provided on arrival. Each day after this only 2 towels and 2 cups were provided and each day we had to ask for towels and cups. Staff were helpful but unfriendly.
