Everything was great, clean, comfortable, had a kitchenette which was very handy, good location right next to Museum Island and the staff were very helpful.

The location is excellent. It was very convenient for my purposes. And the room was quiet, in general the area was quiet.
The new cleaning strategy, they would like to ask you while you check in how often you want to clean your room, not a standard routine. In my case, it was a late night check in, some misunderstanding, so 3 days in a row no cleaning I had to request again for cleaning and other basic things such as tissues.

We had such a wonderful stay! The rooms were perfect — incredibly clean, quiet and the beds were unbelievably comfortable. We slept so well, and the rooms stayed lovely and cool with some very powerful fans too!
There were plenty of tea and coffee facilities, as well as cold water provided in the fridge. We also had a beautiful view over the river, which made the stay even better.
It was my birthday during our stay, and the staff surprised me by coming to the room with some Prosecco and a lovely note, which genuinely made me smile and was such a thoughtful touch.
It was a very short walk away from lovely restaurants, the TV tower and transport.
I cannot thank the wonderful staff enough for making our stay so perfect and welcoming. We absolutely loved our time here and would definitely recommend it.

The twin room was comfortable enough, the single beds were splayed rather than parallel which was an odd design and didn't allow for a bed head. The window opened for fresh air which I love. The shower was a real disappointment with minimal pressure. Breakfast was fairly good.. a nice selection of cold options and breads but poor selection of hot options with only scrambled egg, sausages and bacon which seemed to run out fairly quickly. The breakfast room is quite cramped with seating squished together. The hotel would have been quite lovely 'back in the day' and is still comfortable and clean. Personally I enjoy 'old school', characterful and quirky so it suits me!
The shower had very poor pressure which was not enjoyable and very disappointing. A basic offering in a '4 star' property in my mind.
