Location was great, walking distance to many sites. The transit system is close by as well. The fridge in room was stocked with pop, beer I think, and flat and fizzy waters- nice touch!
The buffet breakfast wasn’t what I expected- the restaurant which I thought was on site, is around a few minutes walk around the block. The onsite bar was okay but would have liked to visit the place I saw on a YouTube review.

The location of the Platzl made our stay in Munich fantastic! It was so convenient to be able to easily go back to the hotel during the day. It was also a pleasure to be at the hotel - the lobby is lovely and our room was a very good size, and spotlessly clean. The staff were always very friendly and helpful, and added to our enjoyment of Munich. I would definitely recommend staying!
