The room was very clean.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was good but a little bit pricey.
Lots of bars and cafes nearby.
4-5 star prices for more of a 3 star hotel.
No safe in room - plenty of room for one.
We paid for a deluxe room and the bathroom was tiny - not impressed with that. Seems that our room was the same size as a standard room.
Shame that the bar shut at 10 as that was when reception closed.
Some of the furniture looked like it needed upgrading - maybe that was the look they were going for?

We liked the location and proximity to the English gardens, walking trails and the Isar canals. We also were close enough to walk to the Marienplatz and old town Munich. Plenty of restaurants with in walking distance from the hotel.
Loud construction beginning at 6:30 am directly across the street. Incessant trolley noise on the street in front of hotel.
Very limited selection for breakfast and cost $16 euros per person each day. Paid Parking available at a garage near by.

Room cramped
Bathroom far too small
No fridge and only given bottled water for first night so although could drink tap water nowhere to chill it or keep other drinks cold (30 degrees heat)
No tea/coffee facilities
No aircon- fan insufficient and road noise if windows open
No outside space to sit (building work?)
