Was not an issue that we arrived early, rooms was super big! The bathroom was super high spec. Lots of thought put into the rooms. Free parking around the property

There were no staff present, our key was simply left out. The hotel is in the middle of sometimes noisy renovation, and is really in need of an upgrade. The Wi-Fi would not load, simply went round and round and round

The visual gap between the photos and the reality of the room I stayed in was the biggest I have ever experienced on booking.com. The decor in my room was so weird and dated that it made the experience creepy. Leave aside the bath with no plug, and the massive stain in the shower.

You really do need to match the photos to the reality. I am quite sure there are a couple of recently re-decorated rooms but if that's not what I am paying for, then don't show me.
