A perfectly standard, squeaky clean, moderate frills, adequately-staffed* functional hotel. Located about 5 minutes by foot from Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe train station; the hotel helped me break a long train journey up into two smaller trips. I explored the Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe including the statue Hercules (a massive park, the start of which is about 30 minutes by foot from the hotel). This might be the most awesome park I've been too. The breakfast had moderate variety; and it was high-quality. *Three team members were at reception; more and more hotels have no one at reception and send codes to access keys. This hotel makes me appreciate what used to be the norm.
The refrigerator didn't feel cold. Maybe 15-18 degrees Celsius. I don't know if that was intentional.

The spa area and sauna were a great addition for relaxation.
There is a small gym available for guests. But could be better maintained.
The location is very good, situated next to a park.
The parking is highly convenient and easily accessible.
The front desk staff was incredibly arrogant and condescending.
We had a very unpleasant experience with the girl at the reception; her haughty attitude completely ruined our first impression and left us with very negative memories of the customer service.
