Gleich beim Ankommen ist es schon wunderbar, wenn man direkt am Hotel und dann noch kostenfrei parken kann.
Das Zimmer war ruhig zum Garten hin. Die riesige Thermenlandschaft ist im Preis drin. Sie hat unsere Erwartungen mit den verschiedenen Saunen und der super angelegten Gartenlandschaft übertroffen, wobei man das Abendessen (Halbpension) auch auf das Hervorragendste loben muss. Geschmacklich excellent, Portionen ausreichend.
Ein Wasserkocher mit Teebeutel und Instantkaffee, oder eine kleine Kaffeemaschine mit Kapseln sind bisher in unseren Hotelbesuchen bereits Standard gewesen. Sogar bei 3 Sternen.

The breakfast was sumptuous. The location was good, only a few minutes into the town and close to the Saar-Hunsrücksteig I was walking.
I have found that in Germany even quite expensive hotels like this one have no tea-making facilities in the room which I miss.

Het 25m zwembad! Heerlijk om de dag met een frisse duik te starten. Of 's middags lekker af te koelen en heerlijk in de zonneweide onder een boom te liggen. Kamer was ruim en schoon. Ontbijt uitgebreid en smaakvol. Ook het eten (a la carte) is heerlijk. Leuke locatie aan de rand van een park en hierdoor rustige locatie. Ook goede uitvalsbasis om uitstapjes in de regio te maken.
Als ik dan iets moet bedenken... Er is geen airco op de kamer, met temperaturen van meer dan 35C zou dat geen overbodige luxe zijn. Maar met raam open hebben we er 's nachts ook weer geen last van gehad.

It was close to a nice lake
It was old. Very old.
It smelled bad. You know this heavy smell of stale air around old textiles - it was all over the hotel and it stunk.
The food was terrible. I hadn’t eaten anything the whole day, so at 2 p.m I ordered a Ceasar salad. it was terrible. Disgusting to the point that I couldn’t eat it.
And my kid had spaghetti. They were really, really bad. Like spaghetti from a can from a supermarket, that they just open and poured into a plate.
The spa was also old. And you had to share it with everyone else who just bought entrance for the spa. One of the most uninteresting spa that I’ve seen
