The location was superb, right in the middle of a very busy Township. The room was small, but adequate for one or two nights, breakfast was very good, especially considering the price of food in the cafés. But I must mention the reception staff at the hotel I don't know if her name was Mina/or Mila. She was fantastic.
Room, facilities, a hairdryer, electric jug, copy, making machine and a really nice little area outside to sit in. It was a very quiet hotel when you think of the busy foot traffic outside..
the morning breakfast staff and restaurant staff were rather grumpy, never smiling, guess they got sick of all the tourists, but but maybe do not relish that wiithout the tourism market they would not be in employment. I teach tourism and believe that customer service is paramount.For a two-night stay, this hotel was perfect. It's right in the heart of town, so everything was within easy walking distance. We visited in the shoulder season and the town was still incredibly busy. I worked here as a tour guide many years ago, and the change has been quite phenomenal.
The hotel itself was really good for a couple of nights, though I wouldn't want to stay much longer than that.
The food in the restaurant was very expensive, but so are the cafes all over Switzerland, so be prepared. If you're coming from Australia or New Zealand, as we did, expect food prices to be roughly double what you're used to.

Location was great. Front desk was helpful when we got there and gave us a map of the area and told us things we could do in the surrounding area.
The bed was uncomfortable and the room smelled like smoke and cucumber which was an interesting combo. The room had no A/C so it got really hot at night which made sleeping quite uncomfortable
