Overall great experience with friendly staff and great amenities.

The staff where amazing and the hotel exceeded expectations. We where two backpackers on a budget and stayed in the budget attic accomodation and where very pleasantly surprised. The accomodation was great, cozy and toilets where very easily accessible. Would highly recommend for anyone travelling on a budget.

Found it very hard to find any flaws only possible issue was wifi did not reach the room. Was not an issue for us .

Fabulous stay! Highly recommended for a small family!

I had an incredible experience at the hotel during my first trip to Switzerland with my family. The view of the waterfall from our hotel window was breathtaking and we were impressed, especially on the higher floors. The rooms were old-fashioned, which made our stay unique and memorable. We loved every moment of our stay and would highly recommend this hotel. However, the breakfast was a bit disappointing, but we understand that this may be the norm in Switzerland compared to France, where we visited before. Overall, we had an outstanding experience and would definitely recommend this hotel.

The picture perfect view

Location of the hotel is excellent. 10 mins walk from the Lauterbrunnen train station. The rooms are big and we had a huge balcony overlooking the Staubbach waterfall. Both the room and washroom were big. We loved the staff who were extremely helpful and they have a lovely ambience in the restaurant on the ground floor with the waterfall view. The breakfast was one of the best we had in switzerland.

Nothing, If you walk from the station to the hotel with baggage it's a uphill climb. Better to take a bus.

The views are absolutely stunning and the staff are all very helpful and friendly

Bathroom could've been a bit cleaner, we found hair on the wall but apart from that everything else was great. The bell tower goes off all the time but the view makes it worth it

A comfortable oasis nestled in the Lauterbrunnen Valley with easy access to all the top sites.

The staff at the front desk (Adam, Natalie and Tristan) and all of the people managing breakfast were friendly, kind and helpful. They were so welcoming and made us feel at home right away! We asked for a room near our friends, and they were right next door - we had a lovely view of the falls from our balcony. Hotel Staubbach offered the best breakfast spread of all the hotels we stayed in during our 2-week vacation. We love your valley.

Beautiful area but very old hotel needs updating & new beds!

Breakfast was good. Even though not the view of waterfall I was expecting, it is such a gorgeous area & view of valley & mountain side. The ladies helping with breakfast were very sweet & persons working there!

The room is very old and needs updating desperately, no tv, beds very uncomfortable. Weird bathroom set up in our room. When I made the reservation over six months in advance I was told I would have a view of waterfall, but when I got there it was not so, so that was disappointing.

Enjoyed talking to Adam and Marie at the front desk very much.

The staff were all wonderful and so friendly and informative. They kept our luggage for us all day while we were out sightseeing. We would love to stay with them again in the future.

Location. Great breakfast!

The morning we had to leave about 30 minutes before breakfast was to be served and tried to get a roll to take with us (had a long drive a head of us). Was told there was nothing for us.

Despite the small shower and hot room temperature, we enjoyed our stay very much.

The breakfast was very good considering the price of one night. Amazing views from the breakfast room! The staff were super friendly and helpful. Especially, the locker room service was valuable for us.

The shared bathroom worked surprisingly well, but it was very small. The shower could fit maybe 170 cm tall person but my partner is 190cm tall, so he could not stand straight in the shower. Also we were a bit disappointed about the heat in the room during the night. We were expecting that it might be very hot in the attic room during these hot summer days but the lady in the reception told us not to worry about it because the breeze from the glazier would cool the room down during the evening. We left the window open for the evening and night and maybe in the morning it had cooled down a bit but not much. So because we were told not to worry about it, we were left a bit disappointed about this.
