Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very relaxed atmosphere .
Breakfast was good, nice variety of options. Had dinner one evening food was exceptional. Would stay again.

We very much liked the location of the hotel. It was just the right distance away from the main street of the town. The views of the mountains and the valley because of its location, were amazing.
Generally, everything was good. It was just that the room was very small. Much smaller than what the photos online made it look like. The bathroom was literally in a closet which for a tall man like my husband created its own challenge.

Edeñweiss has a wonderful, warm and cosy atmosphere.
It is a happy place to be! The staff are warm and friendly, and very attentive.
Nothing not to like! Just a bit hard to find if you arrive late, in the dark, but they do send detailed info on how to find it. It is in a really good location but it would be helpful to have something outside to indicate you have arrived at Edelweiss. Not a problem if you arrive in daylight hours as in daylight you can clearly see the ‘Edelweiss flags’ and the painted sign on the hotel.

This is an experience not just a hotel. The moment you step on the property there is a grassy garden area that decompresses you. The moment you walk in you are greeted with individual kindness. The owners, the staff and everyone involved makes this experience. One of the owners is an expert on hiking the region. Everyone is there to make you feel like you are family. Note: You are stepping into one of the most expensive regions of Switzerland and from my experience this place is a true value. The dinners are extra but you can't beat the quality and value. When I was there it was 39CHF for a three course meal. The food was great. Also, remember, you have come to this area to enjoy the mountains which require hiking. This place is a 300 yards downhill walk from the train station which means up hill also to get back. But they will call you a taxi if you like.
That I had to leave.
