- quick and easy check in, friendly staff;
- 10 mins to Gstaad by train, multiple mountain lifts and hiking opportunities nearby;
- large selection of cheeses at breakfast;
- there’s a ventilation system in the room that provides fresh air even when the window is closed.
- my room’s window was facing the road, I had to keep it closed most of the time to block the noise.

Location, right by the train station. Breakfast was great. Beds were comfortable and it was very clean.
We got unlucky in that it was very hot and we had a room on the road side so it was very noisy at times and the windows had to remain open in an attempt to cool the room. Thankfully we were given a fam to use it made a small difference- thank you.
Most of the staff were great but one or two were medium, could be the a language or cultural issue.
We did leave a ball cap in the dining room the last evening - when we asked about the first staff member wasn't super helpful we came away empty handed. When I went back down and asked again I asked our usual server she was way more helpful and between her and a colleague the cap was found!!!

Staff were amazing and so friendly. Breakfast and eating area was so cozy and friendly each morning with newspapers there. It’s very close to Alpine Express train stop (but you don’t hear or see it). If you want a hotel with an alive and cozy “vibe” to stay in during the ski season, this is it.
