Hotel, etwas in die Jahre gekommen ( Teppiche) und die Außenanlage könnte etwas gepflegter sein.
Die Bettmatratzen waren für meine Verhältnisse zu hart

The building looked like a former hunting lodge maybe and is quite atmospheric. It is very pretty and quaint with interesting sized public rooms and lovely authentic decor.
The staff are very efficient and helpful.
There is convenient, free parking in front.
The breakfast catered for mainly Bavarian tastes, mostly cold cured meats, small amount of cheese. There was a small dish of scrambled egg and cooked bacon., selection of cereals and dried fruit with two small pots of yoghurt, however as none of it was refrigerated, we were quite reluctant, given the outside temperature was about 22 degrees. There was no fresh fruit, but a good selection of teas and the filter coffee was very good.
The rooms are not air conditioned and no fan was provided, so we spent an uncomfortably warm night. There was only one large pillow provided on the bed, and it was filled with soft cottonwool-like material, so a problem if you like a hard pillow.
Our main problem was the restaurant. We received a confirmation advertising the home cooked food in the restaurant, giving opening times as daily 18.00 - 22.00 hrs. We arrived, very hungry, at 18.00 hrs on a Friday evening, tried to book a table but were told the chef was about to leave until Tuesday. It would have been helpful to know that in advance. However, before leaving the chef was able to direct us to a Greek restaurant around the corner, so we did find dinner, but this would not have been our first choice.
