The location was very good, quite near the train station. It's walkable distance to the bus station too. All very convenient. The hotel is very new so everything was quite new. The bed was quite comfy.
There was no chair to sit on in the room. A chair by the desk would be nice. The shower we had looked quite a decent size at first, but when we showered in it, it was actually quite tight, there wasn't enough space to move around because of where the shower was installed. It was installed in the middle, rather than the usual furthest wall, so it was hard to move around. This was just one of the rooms though. We had two rooms. The other room was quite spacious. Even the bathroom was quite spacious.
But because the hotel was still refurbishing and doing works, it was not ideal as my husband and son had asthma and there was a lot of dust from the work.

Location was exceptional, right next to train station, felt very safe. Cafes, shops and restaurants right outside your door. Room was very clean.

Quiet, curtains are blackout, handy for sleeping.
No lift for luggage. May be standard for Venice though

Centrally located
Bathroom old, really not good enough for a hotel. Everything in the room has seen better days. Stairs up to the second floor, narrow, without any handrail.
