Why is this hotel rated only 3 stars? ;-) They made me as well a lunchbag when I had to skip breakfast due to an early flight.
The room was quite warm, was not sure how the airco worked, but opening a window would solve it partly.

Staff friendly, welcoming and helpful. Room was lovely and inviting.. Air con already on, making it comfortable on a very hot arrival day. Complimentary bottles of water. There is a fridge in the room and ample wardrobe space. Missed tea and coffee facilities though. Breakfast was excellent, good choice and the hot food is cooked to order. Again friendly helpful; waiter. Bar area round the corner has comfy seats and a nice view over the park. Location is excellent, not too much of hill back up from Plaza de Espana.
Would have liked tea and coffee facilties, but with the fridge in the room we were able to buy a few sachets from the supermarket next door along with the milk. Wasn't a big issue at all

Location excellent. Staff ok. Nothing to complain about. Reception open 24/24 was appreciated.
There was a writing table and a lamp. I love this.
The parking only has 6 parking spaces and they were taken. I was tired and had to go elsewhere to find parking. I had chosen the hotel also because they said they had parking, but in practice for me, they didn't.
Rooms small, with old furniture and very noisy.
There was no coffee or tea neither in the room, nor elsewhere in the hotel (except in the restaurant when it was open I suppose). That was a big disappointment as I had a cold and a hot drink would have saved my life.
