It was good overall.
Main thing is just it was really really hot and there was no aircon, and when I asked for a fan instead, they didn't have one to provide me with. Putting a standing fan in all the rooms (which is not that expensive), in the summer, would greatly help improve the experience.
Also the towels were a little old and tatty. Wouldn't be a bad idea to replace the towels.

Large room with balcony as requested. Really appreciated that. The cleaning of the room each day was immaculate. Situation is perfect: central but quiet. Excellent cafes nearby.

Location was great, our room was very small but the price reflected that. Bathroom door not private. No breakfast available but good breakfast in bar/cafe across from hotel. Street pedestrianised
Reception on 1st floor. Difficult to change that. Important to stress no elevator as there are 4 floors to climb. Thank goidness we were on the 2nd floor! Nowhere to sit and relax, no lobby or lounge.
