Calm and breathtaking views

The staff was excellent, everyone was so helpful and nice. All facilities were outstandingly new and beautiful.

Everything exceeded our expectations, the only thing that could have been better was the fact that you have to pay for water and coffee during meal time even if you book full course.

Wonderful Family Holiday!

The facilities are great - so much land and space and so beautiful. The views are amazing - every day we woke up to sunshine and a beautiful landscape! The pools are wonderful and my children really enjoyed the family pool. The service was wonderful - on top of things.

The food ! Not as great as it should be. Why not have tons of fresh fish? We are on an island! The pool restaurant had a fish I wanted to order for lunch and when I asked if it was fresh, I was told it had been frozen. Why frozen? Makes no sense.

Really great, we were sad to be leaving, and we will miss all of the lovely and kind staff.

Very kind and friendly staff who are so nice and genuine. The food was great. The pool, gym, location were all great. However, the kindness of the staff resonated above all else.

The mattress on the bed was very hard, a nice, softer mattress would have been ideal for a comfier night's sleep.

Stunning location, below average hotel and average staff, very expensive, equals disappointment.

Location!

Buffet breakfast and evening meal was of average quality and variety, no Sernity spa on offer due to refurbishments but treatments still on offer, although more expensive than the previous year and delivered in a slightly adapted bedroom, not a great experience. We paid for an updated suite and it was a waste of money, smaller bathroom, out of the way. Standard dropped from previous years but more costly, probably wouldn't go back to the hotel, a shame as this would have been our sixth visit.

OK for winter sun but won't rush back due to all the negatives

It was sunny and the staff were lovely.

Many areas looked worn-out and needed work/attention, no way a 5* resort. Food was fine but the cafeteria system is way down-market. NOISE due to both hotel repair work and also local building work across the valley - major problem!

Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel and facilities are well maintained and clean. Buffet breakfast/dinner had good variety and other restaurants in the hotel were also great options.

Luxurious and relaxing

The live music was fun, the sunset pool was beautiful, and the Balinese beds were a great value for the money.

There was no cocktail menu at Sidecar even though there is a good selection at S Bar

Very good

Breakfast was very good, many gluten free options were available after request. Room was big, clean and with amazing view. Pool was nice. The only thing which was a bit disappointing was the gym - it was very small compared to the size of the hotel.

Not for people who look for serenity or a nice place to relax

The hotel is situated in a construction area. More then a dozen hotels are being build at the moment. Trucks, noise from heavy equipment and even the hotel itself is causing a huge amount of noise due to construction works at the poolside inside the hotel. We were forced to leave because this hotel is not at all the serenity the advertise with. The works around will probably last at least for 5 years or more as they companies just started to dig and drill into the mountains. Trucks with their warning signal when driving backwards are a continuous part in your day. At this moment after 3 weeks we still didn't get our money back as promised. Over 1500,- euros for 5 nights.

Excellent location for what we wanted at this time of year

Both heated pools were very good, with plenty of sunbeds at each. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice, and good quality food. The golf course was in excellent condition and very enjoyable.

The pillows were not great but apart from that we had no complaints about anything.

good hotel but too expensive for the state of being

the bed, the atmosphere, clean, the service, the gym 24/7, the food quite fine.

the spa, the kids club at the end of the world, the room is old, the hair drier, restaurants a la carte closed on Monday, the construction noise in front of the hotel.

Very good

The hotel and all facilities are really beautiful, the staff is very welcoming and nice. The views from the sunset bar and the gym are amazing, an ideal place to go if you want to disconnect and enjoy. The hotel is full of plants and very well decorated.

The buffet dinner offers a lot of choice, but the quality is sometimes below average. Also the smells from the grill disrupt the ambiance. The experience would be much better is there was less choice but better quality.

Exceptional

We were offered an upgrade! Our room was very large, with a nice balcony. Loved the adults-only pool - fantastic view of the ocean, great beverages. The breakfast was delicious, with great variety. Friendly staff. Very clean. Luxury-style accommodations. I enjoyed the secluded location of the hotel as well.

We didn't love the food and we had for dinner at the attached restaurant, Sidecar.

A perfect stay away from the city

Great buffet with plenty of choices, sunset pool has very beautiful mountain and ocean views, the pool water is heated which is perfect for winter time. Room size is big and the bed is very comfy. Warm service from all the staff. Would return and recommend to friends.

Power went out first night. Charged for dinner. Buffet was not great. Not creative. Same. Overcooked dry options. Gym could be bigger and better.

Be aloe spa was nice. Room was clean, spaceous, with nice bathroom and comfortable bed, wifi worked well.

We had half board - breakfast was better than dinner, with a lot of choice but most of the food was cold and tasteless. The hotel is simply too big. - We needed two different elevators to reach the room.
