The breakfast was great and the hotel room and hotel were very clean and comfortable.
I would have liked for there to have been air conditioning as it did get very warm during the night especially and a fridge in the room would have been nice!

Comfortable bed. Good location for exploring Gretna. The hotel grounds made for a nice walk, if a little noisy from the road, and the old buildings were interesting and attractive. Clean. Staff were courteous.
Decor needed refreshing, knocked and shoddy in places and felt more 3 star than a 4 star hotel. Carpet in our room was stained in several places, looked like drink or food spillage. Hotel close to road and very noisy with the window open. Items on the breakfast menu other than the buffet were not offered by the staff. Food and juice options not replenished very quickly or only after asking a staff member.
