Lots of storage in bedroom. Plug in chargers for phone on both sides of bed. Comfy bed. Windows excellent for cutting out the road noise. (We were at front of building next to toad). Bus stop less than 2min walk.
Just need hooks/towel rail in bathroom to hangup wet towels.
Slight smell of Asian cooking in room but not overpowering, as there is a takeaway run from the building.

Very warm welcome from Sandy, he made me feel at home and comfortable throughout my stay. The breakfast was really good.
I stayed in the economy room which is on the top floor. It wasn't bad for the price, functional and the bed was very comfortable. My only complaint would be with the shower which had very little water pressure and took a long time to run hot. I understand pressure is hard as it in the top floor but would be worth considering replacing it with an electric shower unit.
Location was perfect. Nice views from the bedroom and only a short walk down to the harbour where there was a good selection of places to eat and drink and good nightlife.
Overall a pleasant stay and would use again.

The hosts were very welcoming and friendly, and there were plenty of complimentary little extras in the room, which was a lovely touch. The beds were comfy and we slept well. On first impressions, the room also appeared very clean.
Once we had settled in and looked a little closer, the cleanliness wasn't quite as good as it first seemed. The room was very dusty in places, and unfortunately there were quite a lot of hairs inside the drawers and in the shower, which was disappointing and made it feel as though some areas hadn't been thoroughly cleaned. The accommodation itself is also quite dated and could really do with a décor revamp and being brought up to a better standard. Some of the furnishings and facilities felt old and tired. Large stains on the floor. There were a few maintenance issues too, including some buttons on the TV remote not working, and the shower pressure wasn't very good.
