Can't beat the Station Hotel for location or value for money - it's so close to the railway station and always astounding value for money. It's an old building so comes with inevitable creaks and slightly thin walls but these didn't hugely take away from the quality of the stay. Staff are all wonderful and very friendly!
There is a bit of noise from outside, being right in the city centre, and some noise through the walls from bathrooms etc but it really wasn't that bad at all.
