excellent for short stay, amenities excellent

location was excellent but very difficult to find College st car park, room was very comfortable breakfast was excellent, coffee could have been better though

not as good when it was jurys inn. but the staff were as good as always

most things,

there was no biscuits in my room till 2nd night the same there was no soft drink in the fridge on my second night till 3rd day. also at breakfast time no flora butter till next day

Very friendly staff, convenient city center location, clean but gloomy decor & terrible breakfast.

It was an extremely convenient in the city center right by the bus and train station which suited me perfectly. The staff were all so friendly - reception, cleaning staff, lady welcoming people for breakfast, I couldn't fault them Many of the staff looked really young and I was very impressed.

The breakfast was terrible. I found the cooked elements to be tasteless and my tea tasted like coffee. Yuk. I actually wish I had skipped that and gone to Black Sheep in the station.

Very central location as close to ferry terminal.

The sign in the lift could have been a lot bigger for telling you to use swipe card to go up and down in lift.

very good all round and location superb for rail facilities in particular and restaurants

Not the usual standard. Very disappointed

I have travelled a lot and have stayed several times at this property, my last visit was well below par

No complimentary biscuits, No water, No toilet brush, Linen had several small stains, Bar staff didn’t know what a long vodka was, Someone came into our room an hour before check in using a key, the door was locked and they didn’t knock either, just walked straight in.

Tidy hotel yet broken sleep which made the stay terrible and uncalled for

Clean room

The fire alarms going off at 05:00. So unexpected sleep broken. When the whole purpose was to get a good sleep also because had work early next morning to prevent me having to get up so early. So really disappointed and only a letter under door saying sorry. So would really like my money back due to this happening.

Fabulously located hotel right next to rail station

Incredibly good location right next to the railway station and within the shopping Centre Room was very comfortable Breakfast was quite good with a wide range of choices

Bedside lamps were inadequate and barely lit up anything. Also, generally the lighting in the room was quite dim and dark

The room was disgustingly dirty! Dark with on 1 x side light working! Floor was rotten and had to wear trainers to/from toilet! Both kids came out with rashes after nights sleep on bed. We’ve stayed in this hotel many of times, but it’s went down hill so much. Breakfast staff was rude! It was cold and eggs were rubber

Lovely hotel, could just be cleaner in the room we had

Location was perfect, reception staff lovely

Cleanliness of room, bathroom didnt smell fresh, lack of attention to detail of cleaning, stains in carpets/chair. Big smell of urine in room/bathroom

Very comfortable central hotel

We got an upgrade for our 5-night stay (thank you, much appreciated!) to a spacious room with corner windows and a handy table; heating system was good in a cold week; free newspapers in the lobby! Nice bar area too, and a very central location within the Union Square development (lots of restaurants even if mostly pizza and pasta)

Lighting in the room (302) was very poor for those of us who like to read at night; there could have been more power sockets; and the bathroom was oddly arranged with the WC right behind the inward-opening door. I would have liked a more flexible shower while my wife found the bed a little hard for her comfort.

Very good

Clean room and comfortable bed, no real problems. College street carpark is a 3 minute walk and prices are not too bad for an overnight stay.

Breakfast was a dine out event as not willing to pay £25.
