Lovely building with very comfortable and clean rooms. Nice bar and a good breakfast. The breakfast was expensive though and parking was £8 on top! There were a handful.of guests and plenty of space but you still had to pay £8! Not had to pay extra at any previous hotel.even in busy big cities.

The location was good and the room clean and spacious. We were greeted cordially by the owner/manager. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean and spacious (very spacious).
The whole experience was somewhat unconventional from a "garden room" with a very utilitarian entrance and a small courtyard area outside (with plants suffering from the head) to having to pay for parking, where there were few other guests and plenty of space. The meal, which we had to pre-order on arrival was OK but the place was deserted with only one other couple staying there. In comparison with the hotels we had been staying in all week. it was very over-priced.
