Comfortable clean well appointed
The stairs to the second floor were quite steep and I should have been warned. Also, the lighting in the cozy room was barely adequate not a light by the tea making facilities and not enough light by which to read in bed. It was all very dim.

Everything was good. Staff very helpful and friendly
We got the location confused with Hotel Penzance Promenade and tried to check in at the wrong hotel.
7 / 10Good·Oct 2026
Bed was comfty, tea and coffee available in the room and down in the restaurant, fresh towels and friendly staff.
Bathroom outdated, bath no shower. Feel of the room was older than expected with cracks in the paint and electric heater.

Room was clean, bed comfortable, fair facilities
Walls for single rooms are paper thin plasterboard, not ideal when grounds of visitors are having a party in the corridor; £8.95 for a reserved parking spot, was a rip, not in headline price until you'd paid - then when I went to dinner came back and someone was in my 'reserved' place! No sing of the night porter early this morning
