Conveniently near restaurants and paddington station, underground and Hyde Park
No aircon.in 35 degree August heat. We asked for an extra fan and the hotel accomodated which was epic as London was really hot.

Barry House was definitely a good location, near Paddington Station. Numerous tube lines run through it. The staff was very helpful in checking in and in answering any questions.
The room itself was a cheaper room. 4 rooms on my floor shared a bathroom, but the shower had almost no room to put your stuff. You get what you pay for with the cheapest rooms within.

Attending Hyde Park for concert & location was great. Close to bars ,shops & Paddington Station . The area was really good. We weren't sure of using the tube to get from Euston train station to hotel so got a black cab taxi expecting a high price - pleasantly surprised by the £18 charge.
Friendly welcome by the staff & booked in very easily. Beds were comfortable & no air con but a floor fan was provided
Quite compact twin room & private bathroom was very small. My partner is quite a large person & found it very claustrophobic. The shower was 2.5ft square approx at best & the space was located under the stairwell so the whole 'room was approx 7ft /8ft x 2.5ft Adequately clean but the finish especially on the tiling in the en suite was disappointing.
The shower water pressure & heat was good though.
As we only stayed 2 nights & were out most of the time it was good enough for us.
