Lovely historic setting and a real rustic feel. Open log fire and smell was great to enjoy a drink in the evening.
Evening meal was exceptional, price but genuinely worth it!
Also worth noting that the staff were amazing!
Bedroom was fine, bathroom may need a little tlc in places but on the whole I would happily recommend and return.

Room was lovely in keeping with the age of house. Overall the hotel and grounds were outstanding. You felt the history of the house. Would definitely recommend it to anyone and would return. We had dinner it was very good.
The laminate flooring let it down not with keeping the age of the house.
The shower was a lot to be desired!

Accommodation, Food, Location and Hotel Grounds all great! Very helpful Staff throughout the stay.
Looking forward to staying again before too long - but only at weekends in warm weather!
We were not made aware, during the booking process, that the outdoor pool (a key reason for staying) is made available to the public on weekdays until 5pm. Therefore pool becomes very crowded and noisy with adults and children who take up all the poolside tables and chairs and even picnic on the lawn! Very disappointing in the extremely hot weather! Visit at weekends when it is lovely for a quiet getaway.
