A good value place to spend a night in Manchester
Room was nice, clean and comfortable
The common spaces have some lovely decoration in keeping with the age of the building
The man who met me was friendly too, had a nice chat, and i asked him for a couple of bits and bobs and he obliged quickly
Check out 10am felt a bit early and couldn’t extend

Ok place but no full English like I expected when I booked breakfast included. The chair in the room was dirty and hadn’t been changed as we’d asked to arrive early due to us needing to be at a venue we’d booked, and check in was extremely later than others at 4pm.
The guy explained he hadn’t had time to change the chair cover and said he’d do it when we went out. We didn’t want him coming into the room when we had all of our stuff there so told him to leave it. I then noticed the chair cover set which was out to use, I tried doing it myself but quickly noticed that the arms on that cover were minging too. I ended up telling the guy not to bother sorting the chair, we just won’t use it I said. I also told him I didn’t want anyone entering the room when we had left our belongings in there. I wouldn’t stay here again.
The breakfast was disappointing but the lady was very jolly and lovely who brought our toast and tea.
