Location is ideal, and it massively helps that the hotel provides parking. My usual place to stay whenever I’m in the city, comfort convenience, you can’t go wrong.

It was in a decent and quiet location. Bus stop opposite to go into the city. Beds were clean and room was clean.
Just a heads up. Not a major problem. The shower trap was blocked. So the shower cubicle filled with water. I pulled the trap out to show the cleaner, it needed done. Nobody was on reception when we left, or I would have said. Better pillows are needed too, they were quite low and flat. Maybe some pictures on the wall would be nice to make it more homely. For the money we paid, it was as expected, can't complain. We were looking for just some where clean, to put our heads down, after a long day of moving our son into university accommodation.

I would say that the place was generally clean and loved the fact that there was a smart TV. I also didn’t know that there were facilities, so that’s a nice bonus. It was also quiet and had food places and buses to other areas of Manchester.
- I found around 5-6 spiders scattered around my room and bathroom (3 of which were dead by perhaps hitting but not cleaned after). I can’t complain about nature but it was an overwhelming amount. - Outside my room door was the fire door that was never double checked in the night, if it were closed. I would come back quite late and it be wide open and I had to shut it every night. It’s supposed to remain closed but it also poses a risk to safety because anyone could come in through that door (climbing a fence or whatnot). There could have at least been a sign or something to enforce it to be shut but I also wondered why that door was used. - There heater didn’t work and did get quite cold in the night. - There was mould at the side of my sink and near the heater. I wish that were advertised transparently - Bar of used soap left in the bathroom and was dripping down the shower walls - The one that was the most annoying was check in and help. This was also because my issue wasn’t in isolation. I buzzed so many times and no one came out. It was a resident that let me in and had to go to the back somewhere to bring out the receptionist. There were numbers to call and the people I talked to were nice but I saw the same issue happen every day I was there. People waiting outside for what it seemed ages and then me, leaving to get to where I needed to go, would open the door to leave and they come in. Luckily these seemed to be true booking.com clients as they were asking the same questions I was (where’s the receptionist, I’ve called their number ?) but I could imagine the risk of letting someone in that has nothing to do with the facility. I know the numbers were displayed on the top to call, but you could essentially walk in without any resistance. Because of my experience with check in, I didn’t bother call the phone to fix the other issues (like heater etc). I was extremely busy that weekend and didn’t have time to nit pick these things and shouldn’t have had to.
